about

Exeter Local Records can't wait to be part of the Exeter Respect Festival again in 2015. It's great seeing so many people from all over the city coming together in Belmont Park for a giant party that's inclusive and supportive of the diversity that's sometimes hidden. More than just a music festival Respect is a place to join with friends and learn more about what the community has to offer.

We are proud to have been involved in supporting Exeter Respect and their fantastic musical line-up for the last couple of years. Although cuts have made organising the festival more difficult it has also allowed us to refocus on the great local talent and bring the festival back to its roots. Respect wouldn't happen without a small dedicated team of volunteers who freely give their time to bring together a weekend of family fun and show the world that Exeter may be a small city but has a great big heart. More information about the full festival line-up and how to get involved can be found at www.exeter-respect.org

We would like to thank all the bands and musicians who have donated tracks for this album - profits from which will be donated back to the festival. If you enjoyed their songs look them up and let them know - many have EPs and albums available through us and can be seen regularly at shows in the area. Thanks to Hannah Mumby for her awesome Poster Design, Andy Watts for his original 'Tape' design and all his work on ELR Volume 2, Sharifa for her design doodles, Nick at PRT Press for patiently working with us always at the 11th hour!! and last but ever gratefully to all of you lovely people for showing your smiles and support to us... get your dancing shoes ready... we look forward to seeing you all again soon!
